N SERIES Torque Transducers

Our N SERIES torque transducers are designed to work with analogue displays which can interrogate an internal memory chip to download information stored on the transducer.


N SERIES Transducers have been designed to include an intelligent PCB within the transducer housing. The PCB stores the serial number, part number, capacity and calibrtation value, which can be interrogated by some manufacturers displays. The transducer outputs a mV reading. 

N-type In-Line
Torque Transducer


The AWS LTD N-type In-Line Torque Transducer range (NITT), are designed to accurately measure torque values, in a variety of industries.

With optimised torque ranges, the transducer outputs a mV signal proportional to the supply voltage and torque. The transducer contains a memory chip in which a small selection of parameters, including serial number, model number, and calibration value, are held, compatible for setting some manufacturers display units.

 

The NITT features:

  • Allows the testing of all types of hand torque tools
  • Comes in optimised torque ranges
  • On board memory chip storing Model No, Serial No, and Calibration Value.
  • Vertical/Horizontal mounting when used with an Inline Transducer Mounting Bracket (purchased separately)
  • Analogue output
  • Fitted with a rugged MIL-C male connector (MIL-DTL-26482)

 

There is an option (using the ITMB, purchased separately) to bench mount the transducer in either a vertical or horizontal position. The vertical position allows it to be mounted in ISO torque wrench calibration machines.

N-type Annular
Torque Transducer


The AWS LTD N-type Annular Torque Transducer range (NATT), are designed to accurately measure torque values, in a variety of industries. They function either as a reaction torque transducer taking the reaction torque through the transducer, or with additional drive plates, attached to the flanges, convert them to direct drive inline transducers.

With optimised torque ranges, the transducer outputs a mV signal proportional to the supply voltage and torque. The transducer contains a memory chip in which a small selection of parameters, including serial number, model number, and calibration value, are held, compatible for setting some manufacturers display units.

 

The NATT features:

  • Allows the testing of all types of hand torque tools
  • Comes in optimised torque ranges
  • On board memory chip storing Model No, Serial No, and Calibration Value.
  • Analogue output
  • Fitted with a rugged MIL-C male connector (MIL-DTL-26482)
Adapter plates can also be supplied to meet your mounting requirements.

With optimised torque ranges, the transducer outputs a mV signal proportional to the supply voltage and torque. The transducer contains a memory chip in which a small selection of parameters, including serial number, model number, and calibration value, are held, compatible for setting some manufacturers display units.

 

The NRTT features:

  • Allows the testing of all types of hand torque tools
  • Comes in optimised torque ranges
  • On board memory chip storing Model No, Serial No, and Calibration Value.
  • Analogue output
  • Fitted with a rugged MIL-C male connector (MIL-DTL-26482)

 

The NRTT can be produced with different adapters depending on its use including square (standard) and keyway (option).
